Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Office Hours
Clear Path was honored to host a visit from DAV National Services Officer Mike Valila. Using DAV specialized equipment Mike is able to quickly and efficiently process benefits requests. The DAV is a leader in reaching out to Veterans of all generations and their families providing support and access to benefits that often go unclaimed.
Our lead Peer Mentor Ryan Fleming hosted the event, lining up visits in advance of the event and helping to ensure Veterans brought the necessary paperwork. Mike was able to work with Veterans throughout the day on such claims as hearing loss, pensions and new disability claims, including a complex claim linked to service at Camp Lejeune. The DAV will regularly visit Clear Path to meet with and provide assistance to Veterans to improve access to benefits claims.
DAV will be having their Mobile Service Office nearby at the Leominster Veterans Center
