Meet Ryan Burnett our Canine Program Manager
Ryan Burnett is a U.S. Air Force Veteran who spent 20 years as a security forces officer and Lead K-9 trainer in the military. He was trained and certified through the Department of Defense Military Working Dog Program. Ryan has been certified and held positions in all of the following areas: Military Working Dog Instructor Supervisor, Military Working Dog Instructor, Military Working Dog Trainer, Military Working Dog Handler, Security Forces Kennel Master, Security Forces Military Working Dog Trainer, and Security Forces/U.S. Secret Service Explosive Detector Dog Handler. Since retiring from active duty military service, he has independently owned and operated CHAMPION K9 SERVICES L.L.C. servicing the local community in pet obedience and advanced behavior modification training. Ryan recently took on the role of Canine Program Manager at ClearPath for Veterans New England, where he can share with Clear Path and the veteran community his 22+ years of invaluable experience in training canines, handlers, and trainers at all levels. His most crucial role, however, is ensuring that the best possible service dogs are paired with the appropriate veterans, depending on their specific needs. Ryan holds associate degrees in both Criminal Justice and Instructor of Technology and Military Science from the Community College of the Air Force. In addition to all of this, Ryan still finds the time to coach varsity football, basketball, and softball teams at his local High School.
