In 2003, Ed was deployed to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom, stationed at Talli Air Base for a year.
Beyond his military service, Ed’s dedication extends to his community. He is an active participant at Clear Path, initially introduced by a friend. Engaging with the dog program and later contributing to the culinary department, Ed’s involvement reflects his willingness to contribute in various capacities. His commitment is evident in his regular presence at Clear Path events, including the Fitchburg Breakfasts and Leominster Lunches on Tuesdays. Ed’s reliability and readiness to assist, even at short notice, make him an invaluable asset to the Clear Path team.
